REEL BIG FISH – The Beer Run

All-time Revolution favorites, Reel Big Fish was one of the legions of Southern California ska-punk bands to edge into the mainstream following the mid-’90s success of No Doubt and Sublime. Like most of their peers, the band was distinguished by their hyperkinetic stage shows, juvenile humor, ironic covers of new wave pop songs, and metallic shards of ska. The group cultivated an underground following that broke into the mainstream when their single “Sell Out” became a modern rock radio and MTV favorite. Still fronted by original lead singer and song writer Aaron Barrett, Reel Big Fish continue releasing albums and touring relentlessly, playing more and more countries and bigger venues all over the world.

EPICA w/ LACUNA COIL plus guests

The world of symphonic metal is all about big ideas and high standards, but few bands have taken this most bombastic of genres to such momentous creative heights as EPICA. Formed in the Netherlands, these perennially dynamic masters of sonic opulence swiftly grabbed the world’s attention with their debut album, The Phantom Agony. With a fresh and vital sound that struck a sublime balance between orchestral grandeur and pure heavy metal grit, EPICA’s music has continued to showcase the compelling contrast between singer, Simone Simons’s soaring vocals and guitarist, Mark Jansen’s guttural growls; between Isaac Delahaye’s unstoppable core of scything riffs and keyboard maestro, Coen Janssen’s intricate, hugely cinematic arrangements and embellishments. All of this backed by a powerful tandem: Ariën van Weesenbeek blasting his drums and Rob van der Loo providing tasteful low end. The lyrics, too, made EPICA stand out from the crowd, as they eschewed the traditional symphonic trope of fantasy and began to explore and dissect notions of philosophy, science and spirituality. This Dutch sextet are widely regarded as the genre’s brightest hope and international success is in their grasp.

Frontman John Popper states, “Three decades… three decades and I am still surprised when we play and find some rich new musical vein to tap. Three decades and I cannot believe my luck with this band of brothers and this string we have run! Thirty years since a bunch of loud boys embarked on an adventure that took them around the world and made them a family that has not ceased growing to this day. Thirty years later and I am still so very grateful.”

Guitarist Chan Kinchla adds, “The longer I do it the more I like it! I remember laying on my bed at 13 years old in Princeton, New Jersey. Spinning my precious LPs, dropping the needle back across a part over and over trying vainly to scry some part of a Bowie record or a Clash record or a Pretenders record, maybe gazing at the back of the album jacket as side A played again and again. All I dreamed of was playing in a cool band with great musicians, in front of a bad ass crowd, creating a floating, bubbling, hissing group. Think rock show in the shiny lights. The fact that I’ve been able to be a part of exactly that for 30 years leaves me humbled and thankful and wanting more….much more!”

Blues Traveler — John Popper (lead vocals, harmonica), Chan Kinchla (guitar), Tad Kinchla (bass), Brendan Hill (drums), and Ben Wilson (keyboard) — have a proven reputation for their improvisational live shows and tireless touring. With a total of twelve studio albums — four gold, three platinum and one six-times platinum — they have sold more than 10 million combined units worldwide, and played over 2,000 live shows in front of more than 30 million people. Their hit “Run-Around” is the longest-charting radio single in Billboard history, and earned them a Grammy® for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1996. The group also founded H.O.R.D.E. Festival, a touring progressive rock music festival and creative nest, hosting everyone from Beck and Neil Young to Ben Harper and Squirrel Nut Zippers.

Continuing the tradition of sitting in with other bands, Blues Traveler’s John Popper has sat in with countless artists all over the world, including Foo Fighters, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Keith Urban, and even alternative acts like Passion Pit. With an open mind, it’s no surprise that on the group’s latest release, Blow Up The Moon, they took this a step further to enlist a range of artists across the musical spectrum, representing country, pop, reggae and hip-hop, on their first-ever collaborative album.

As they enter the fourth decade of their career, Blues Traveler will begin recording their a brand new album this May, expected for release in early 2018.

Led Zeppelin 2

The Best Led Zep Cover Band Ever!!

“Led Zeppelin 2 is the best Zep band going anywhere.”

TIMEOUT NEW YORK

“The closest thing to seeing the real Led Zeppelin.”

DALLAS OBSERVER

“Led Zeppelin 2 is a tribute band devoted to replicating the live shows of the legendary hard-rock

dinosaurs. The band is on its way out of the minor leagues, and is now playing bigger venues for a

generation of fans too young to have ever experienced the genuine article.”

THE NEW YORKER

“These guys sound f—ing exactly like Led Zeppelin!”

KIRK HAMMETT, METALLICA

“A lot of Zep tributes out there, but this one’s our favorite… its members fully immerse themselves in the

musicianship and style of the four classic-rock heavyweights. That Yakuza howler Bruce Lamont does a

mean Robert Plant is icing on the cake.”

TIMEOUT CHICAGO

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and in the case of Led Zeppelin 2, it’s one of the best.”

CHICAGO SUN-TIMES

“As good a Zep as Zep ever did back in the day.”

JIM DEROGATIS, NPR / CHICAGO SUN-TIMES

Boyce Avenue | Be Somebody World Tour

Boyce Avenue Fort Lauderdale October 8 2017

Florida’s Boyce Avenue are part of the millennial wave of artists who have used the Internet, rather than extensive touring, to get their music out to the masses. Consisting of brothers Alejandro, Fabian, and Daniel Manzano, the trio started making music together when Daniel returned to Florida after graduating from Harvard Law School. The brothers showcased their emotive, radio-friendly alt-rock on YouTube with a series of videos of them performing acoustic versions of their own songs as well as covers. In 2013, they joined the American version of The X Factor television series as vocal coaches and released the concert album Live in Los Angeles. By that same year, they had hit one billion views on YouTube, amassing millions of subscribers in the process. Their No Limits EP followed in 2014. In 2016, they released their 15th EP of cover songs, Cover Sessions, Vol. 2, which featured their takes on hits by Sam Smith, Adele, and Ed Sheeran, and even the Game of Thrones theme offered up with Spanish acoustic flair.
